"OMG - the Influencer is Dead" is a murder mystery game for 6 to 12 players aged 16 and up. You play the game at home with friends, family or at a birthday party The murder mystery game is perfect to combine with a dinner, adding a twist to a fun meal with friends.

How the murder mystery game proceeds:

Before the game:

All guests receive an invitation to a party. Influencer Nicky has 1 million followers, and that needs to be celebrated. During the evening, a real-life soap television show will also be revealed. All close friends and important influencers are invited. Participants are told that they will be playing a game this evening and will play a role at this party. They don't yet know what role this is.

Murder mystery game flow (3 hours):

You play the murder mystery game in three rounds. Each round lasts between 30 and 45 minutes. You can take a break or eat between rounds. The whole game lasts about 3 hours.

First round - acquaintance with all suspects (30/45 min):

During the first round, players learn that someone has been murdered. They know the perpetrator is one of the guests, but they don't know who. The perpetrator also doesn't know they are the murderer in this first round. The first round is primarily intended to get to know each other and better understand which characters are present.

Second round - interrogation round (45 min):

The second round is a true interrogation round. A number of clues are shared, and all players have specific information about their behavior during the day. Everyone has to work to piece together who might be the perpetrator. There are special tricks to help, such as players getting special superpowers that they can use to obtain information. For example, you can start a duel with another player (paper, rock, scissors), and if you win, the other player must give you a clue or tell you a secret.

Third round - the denouement (30 minutes):

The third and final round offers another 30 minutes to ask the final questions and fill in the missing pieces.

End of the murder mystery game:

Time's up... tick-tock... then it's time for everyone to point out the murderer. Participants take turns saying who they think committed the murder. Will everyone manage to identify the murderer? At the end, take a selfie with the sign that says you did/didn't find the murderer.
